Description:
Get your passport to creativity ready for a summer full of far out places and ideas. This week we head to Europe to gaze at the masterpieces of Western Civilization. In London, we'll hop aboard the double decker bus (collage) on our way to the Tate and the National Gallery, where we'll paint the clouds and trees studied by John Constable. In Paris, we will sculpt The Thinker, make a fun postcard like artists at Musee D'Orsay, and a wacky Mona Lisa puppet to loosen up the Louvre. Like Picasso, we will study the great Las Meninas of Diego Valezquez at El Prado. Then we will paint and collage in mythical proportions like Boticelli. And to top it all off, we will end our trip in Holland with a Monet-inspired windmill pastel and Van Gogh-style textured portrait. Good thing we got a rail pass!
