Stitch your own floral bouquet, no watering required! This workshop will help you get started on this classic design and help you practice your embroidery skills. You'll learn how to transfer the design to fabric and how to stitch lines and fill in spaces using three basic stitches: back stitch, satin stitch, and the French knot. Students will also be encouraged to experiment with invented stitchery with a focus on color and original design. Instruction time is two hours, with an additional studio hour to finish projects and ask questions.
All supplies are provided, including two 5" hoops for practice and finish, fabric, embroidery floss, and use of needles and scissors. All levels welcome!

This class is taught by Allie Biddle, and embroidered goods artist from Denton, Texas. See her work at www.alliebiddle.com.
