Our Watercolor Wonder Birthday is for kids ages 3+. Children are introduced to the beauty and freedom of watercolor painting. Our friendly teacher will introduce the kids to the "anatomy" of a brush, how to take care of our art tools, and set up their art making space. The painting project begins with mark making with our always popular crayon rugs, creating a colorful resist on watercolor paper. Next, kids have an opportunity to explore a variety of painting techniques with brilliant watercolor paints. Finally, they title their abstract painting. This project is appropriate for a wide range of ages, adults even enjoy this free form process that results in a beautiful artwork. 

You may arrive 15-30 before the party to set up. Decorations, food and beverages are welcome. Our teaching staff of friendly artists will begin the art project after all of your guests arrive (usually 15-30 minutes after birthday start time). The project lasts 20-30 minutes. After project kids are invited to the library for a story while the art table is cleaned and transitioned into a space for food, cake and cheer. 

The $200 deposit covers a 1.5 hour party with 30 minutes for set up and clean up (2 hours total) and is required to hold the date. An additional fee of $15 per child covers the project cost, this is due on the day of the event. 

Our inspiring studio provides a welcoming atmosphere for kids and their parents. Located on W. Davis Street, we are easy to access from major highways and within blocks of Dallas' best restaurants. Parking is available in our Fouraker Street lot as well as along W. Davis Street.

Add on killer goodie bags designed just for you! Our most popular party favor is our crayon rocks that come in a linen bag. Oil and Cotton can also create custom takeaways, centerpieces, and decoration, or you are welcome to bring your own. We also have a list of local recommended floral, cake, catering, and entertainment services. 

Rental Policies:
-Our space can accommodate approximately 20-25 adults
-Two hour minimum at $100/hr (this includes 30 min for set up/breakdown)
-Deposit is non-refundable
-We respectfully ask that you leave our space as you found it:)
