Keela Dooley is a Metalsmith who creates narratives in jewelry and wearable sculptures. She is inspired by personal experiences and creative problem solving. Passionate about passing her knowledge of ancient and modern techniques, Keela makes learning metalwork exciting. She received her BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry at Radford University, in the New River Valley of Virginia. She is currently working towards her MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry, while teaching 3D Foundations and working as an employee in the Digital Fabrication Lab. Having also taught Beginning Metalsmithing, she has experience teaching students with no background in metals.
