SPRING Semester Adult Weekly Painting Class

January 11 - May 23, 2024

20 class spring semester course. Students enrolled in this course for the semester will take first priority for registration. Once the course has begun, remaining drop in seats will be sold only if available. No makeup or credits will be issued for missed classes.

Philosophy of a Painter - painting group
Geared towards intermediate to experienced artists who are looking to further develop their practice, this class is mix between a critique session, artist support group, and open work environment. The instructor will introduce open ended prompts designed for the individual artists to make an artwork in response to over the course of several studio sessions. The group will also engage in discussions about art making, art history, and other considerations intrinsic to painters. There are social, spiritual, and philosophical sides to art making, all of which this class hopes to consider and discuss.

Students bring their own supplies, which can be purchased in our store at 10% off.
